Tyson began his career in dentistry in 1995, providing traditional practice management coaching to dentists in the Pacific Northwest. At the time, most dental marketing strategies were hopelessly out-of-date. Dancing molar logos and “value mailers” worked well for the average HMO-style clinic, but looked unsophisticated to savvy, upscale consumers who were used to nationally branded products and services.

So Tyson began tailoring effective marketing strategies that would eventually help hundreds of advanced, fee-for-service dentists and specialists compete successfully in the new marketplace. And that may be why his approach makes so much sense to you, because it’s uniquely tailored to a consumer who is a lot like you and a practice that is a lot like yours.

In case you’re wondering, Tyson’s formal education consists of four years in advertising at the University of Oregon School of Journalism.
